Women who are now growing older, past that 'certain age,' can look back on half a century or more of life experience - with their families, work and other interests, each one unique within a particular context of social history.  It is not unusual for much of that experience, the stories they have to tell about their lives, and the knowledge that women themselves have, to go unrecorded and be lost to generations that follow.  This site is a place for women's stories about their lives, and their valuable insights, to be shared with others.
